Only if you (incorrectly) assume that this stuff is normal and harmless. There's a reason watching two men kiss activates the same part of the brain as seeing cockroaches and it's not because of learned bigotry, it's because it's intrinsically unhealthy disease-spreading behavior and correlates with rape and pedophilia both historically (see ancient Greeks) and currently (see statistics about what percent of homosexuals reported being molested as children in studies from the 90s). The only possible upside to acceptance is making a small portion of the population happy that they don't have to hide their affliction.

Being homosexual, bisexual or transgender is naturally not a political movement. But the LGBTQBBQ+, with the rainbow flags and the Pride organisations, political lobbying, etc, is a political movement.
