Comment on: Rust: I like the language, I fucking hate the community - thoughts?

My computer language of choice, a newer one, is filled with faggots. I don't mean queers, because I don't mind queers, I mean faggots. I don't think I've met one that I didn't want to punch where their man parts should be. SJW, cucked, pussies. I swear I stole their lunch money when we were kids. I still use, and like, the language, I just don't deal with the "community."

TL; DR - If you like the language, ignore the faggots.

Comment on: 'OK, everyone. Stop typing, this software is DONE,' said no one ever

I would prefer that the folks running my server are able to manage it easily; and is why I pay more for a managed service. I don't want to patch, manage, maintain the environment. Whatever, if you give a dev a free pizza he, she or ze will bitch because it's not gluten-free, vegan pepperoni.

Comment on: Kill Google AMP before it KILLS the web

Times have changed. While the only MS product I use is Hotmail, I love Windows phones, best UI, response, etc. of any phones I've used. If they ever release surface phone, I'll probabaly jump on it.

I ran mail systems in my early, pre-dev career... absolutely hate them. I'll support MS just to stick it to Alphabet.

I use Bing. I'm moving from gmail to hotmail. It's not that I think Microsoft is good, but at least they don't pretend to be.

I'm about to move my GCE installs to Linode. at that point, the only G I have will be what I use for work, so it can be done, it just takes some wherewithal.

Comment on: Worrying trend in the developers world

I'd agree. Small companies can't afford weak devs, but they have their drawbacks. Good leadership is crucial at a small company.

I "grew up" in small companies and assumed every Dev was talented, the I went to a Fortune 100. I'd wager 90% of the quality code was by 10% of the team, and 20% of the team was busy rewriting the crap that the final 70% had copy-pasted from SO. I left fairly quickly, even though I was moving up quickly through the ranks.
