Your implicit claim seems to be "that sub is *not* full of racism and xenophobia", correct me if I'm wrong. My point is I can't prove my claim, since collecting that kind of data would be very hard and would likely take months. But you need that data to make the above claim as well. By its nature, this discussion is not scientific in any way, so I'm just sharing my shitty opinion (I have nothing better to do on a Friday night). But if you can chalk up those comments to "well there are shitty people in every sub", then it should be possible to find similar comments advocating genocide in other candidates' subs, right?

My point is, there are no statistics (to my knowledge; I'd love to be wrong about that). If you can compile a similar list of upvoted comments advocating genocide from /r/bernieforpresident or /r/hillaryclinton, I'd love to see them.

Oh please. Those comments *would* get downvoted to oblivion anywhere else. The frequency with which these comments appeared on that sub, and *not* downvoted to oblivion was pretty scary. Also, for the record, I'm not calling you a fascist. But the people who wrote those comments certainly are, and there's more where that came from. Making excuses for them isn't helping you or your cause.
