In the U.S and many other places there is a whole host of exceptions that follow. Hate speech, promotion of violence, to name a couple, are in the rulebook in the U.S.
It also only covers government entities, so you are no in fact entitled to free speech with respect to your neighbor or any other private entity.

I work in a very large company, and unfortunately at scale there's no filter beyond race.
Its in every damn conversation. Its exactly the opposite of reducing racism, instead every decision is forced to have some racist component.
