The covington kids was a fiasco i cant believe how people just go with something without the facts or full context. And I actually did recently make a post in politics 27 downvotes in ten minutes then someone commented on a spelling error in my post i thanked the user for pointing that out to me and even that got downvoted.

I guess it just dumbfounds me in a way. I get what your saying but its politics not r/democrats or r/The_Donald I can understand those subreddits downvoting opposing views but Shouldnt politics be about open discussion. Doesnt the auto mod state something about the subreddit being about open discussion? I could be wrong on that.
