It's not the end of the world. Read the rules and base your reply on that. Also report them if their comments to you break the rules. That part of their game is to get you banned.

You have to decide whether you're going to let some rando mod who puts out a bot mod to dictate what sub you're going to subscribe or comment in. I got a ban myself and I unsubscribed because they aren't that important.

On reddit you can be banned just because a mod just feels some kind of way about your post/comment or if you post on a sub that they feel is problematic.
