People rely on that sub to understand what's going on. Those mods are controlling the conversation through mod abuse.
https://youtubedownloader.com/ is free and works very well. It won't let you download 192kbs sound videos with the free version, but it will work for everything less than that. There are a few additional pieces of shareware that it asks you to install during setup, but they are easy to decline or uncheck to avoid.

That mod seemed very reasonable and above board about it.
The state of that thread had been greatly improved since then for the sake of truth as well.

I got a ban notice from them today. I asked them why as I haven't posted or commenting anything to their sub in at least the last week. They said they were sorry for not notifying me of when the bam actually took place.
