I've been noticing the trend of my former peers caring about facts and objective truth being replaced with caring about opinions and creatively worded articles to support their feelings. It's scary because they're all now advocating for punching nazis and have since changed to calling me a nazi. I've pretty much always had the same views/principles (everyone should leave everyone alone and the only time we should force someone to do/not do something is if it is OBJECTIVELY harmful to others, which of course has room for debate) and was "their army" on social media to argue their point because I tend to cite facts and show holes in the logic. Now, I'm a nazi needing punching.

They don't worry until it's their speech being taken away/prevented. Those so concerned with the feelings of others (the people that enjoy censoring and preventing discussion) seem to me to be the most self centered.

Oh yes, when they're trying to prevent information from being released they tell you that in the ban messages.

more like threatened with suicide or being robbbed (murdered without anything missing)

When folks have to censor you for talking about it, it lends a certain credibility. Look into the streisand effect.

The DNC emails. Podesta's emails were because his password was p@ssword or something equally simple.

The last few months..... the fact that it became a meme that /u/spez was the word for edit and /r/politics became /r/redacted
