There was a post i read about 15+ years ago about someone who used the most hacked up overclock of a mac se to 1GHz. They poured liquid nitrogen essentially from a funnel into a cooling mechanism.

I believe cryptocat genered cryptokeys in ascii instead of over the full range, making a ton of their stuff trivially crackable. See
