I contacted a few mods directly. They haven't answered either. I'd suggest doing the same, or sending a message to the admins, there's a link somewhere. By reddit standards they have to at least tell you why you are banned so you can make a case should you choose.

I used their comment and had a blanket statement of "we banned you guys a while ago. We are changing things now." That's... not at all an answer. I directly contacted a few mods, also got no answer. This all goes against the new community guidelines, feel free to send a message to the admins. If enough go directly to the admins at the very least they'll have to try and say why they blanket banned so many people.

Going to give them a few hours to have a sane reply, if not I'll continue. However the link you posted wants us to put a topic from a drop down menu there. What are we supposed to put as the topic?

Well if that is the rule, then this is not retroactive. If they are just now banning people this is pretty current and applies the current rules.

I've posted on there and had conversations all year so I don't think I was shadow banned. As a side note... if it's anyone who posted before a certain point that strikes me as... frankly insane. Most of the early posters were parody. It was a joke, and he was literally a clown we were laughing at. Are you sure it's only banning people who posted before a certain point?

Oh yeah, I was banned from there before October.

Was also just banned. I haven't posted there in over a week, and still have over 1000 karma there. So not sure what exactly their criteria is. I just searched to see who else was banned since their message implied they were banning more than just me. Edit: I directly contacted a couple mods directly. I'll let you know what their reply to me is, if it is just one mod acting on their own this will probably be more effective than shouting back at them.
