On the part of tranny being a slur, honestly at this point it's an opinion whether it's a slur or not. But it wasn't used in a hate speech context. The dude just said that he doesn't see trannies as actual women, that isn't hate speech, that's an opinion, but I guess it depends on whether you see tranny as a slur, I don't, I've always seen it as a short version of transsexual, transgender, transvestite, etc.. Hell, last time I saw, it was still used in porn as a regular replacement for transsexual, transgender, etc.
