objectively, our moderator did not break any rules at all. being provocative isn't disruptive, otherwise nobody would be allowed to start arguments in our subreddit. i'm not going to argue this any further, because you don't have a clear grasp of the disruptive comment rule.

the rules are clear to see. i'm pretty sure the mod teams view of our rules is correct, considering we wrote them. ramblinrambo didn't break any rules. we do not ban people for political opinions, or for merely saying a slur. calling black people niggers isnt disruptive, it's intentionally provocative and theres a fine line between being offensive and breaking our comment rules which ramblinrambo has not crossed. you are perfectly entitled to your opinion, but rambo will remain a moderator.

his comment was not an argument against another user, it had no ad hominems, therefore his comment was not disruptive. tdm's comment on the other hand namecalled users of the sub (specifically referring to them), whined about the subreddit and it's userbase without being constructive. he also said that he hoped everyone killed themselves, which is against site-wide reddit rules. these are the two key differences between the banned user and our moderator.
