Comment on: Pre-emptive bans now? A sub I never joined or participated in bans for no reason given.
Same. They don’t bother checking what was said. All the bot does is check to see if a post was made in a sub deemed “wrong-think” and then the bot bans you. Not much different than fringe cultist knocking on your door IRL, asking you to sign creepy documents promising not to associate with the impure. The mask is coming off the authoritarian nazis.

Lol no they’re not. They’re banning users for being guilty by association. Technology allows for automated harassment that the typical Karen-mod would be too embarrassed or lazy to perform. No different than cultists pressuring people to cut out “apostates” from their life.

If I paid Reddit $10 mil a year I wouldn’t let them say anything negative about me either.

Comment on: So got banned from a unrelated, non political sub, just from participating in a contraversial sub, so much for freedom of speech
/r/offmychest is a cesspool masquerading as a help-sub. Normal people on reddit don't make guilt-by-association rules to box out people they don't agree with. They also don't want to talk about it because they know they're wrong. They don't want to verbalize how "[x] interferes with American Democracy" because that combination of words doesn't exist without making the speaker look like an idiot.

Comment on: /r/News mods are back at it again, taking time out of celebrating Jussie Smollett getting away with multiple felonies to censor away over 1500 comments. Too bad for them that we can reverse their censorship.
Sad, but there are people who believe a two year investigation done by the FBI is the same Chicago's prosecutor making a secret back room deal over the course of five minutes. Ergo it’s toooootally justified. “Justice” through equal outcomes
