That looks like a completely automated response. Maybe I am wrong. That said, if it wasn't automated then the response you had to the ban wouldn't be likely to motivate anyone constantly dealing with people who hate them to help you.

u/zgembo1337 described pretty well why this subreddit tends to be ban-hammer heavy. That said - from what I have seen in that subreddit, this is a surprising ban. My bet is that if this is the only reason that a ban was issued - it was probably a mistake of some sort. You could probably send the moderator(s) of the\_Donald a DM with the screenshot for an 'unban'. Mistakes can happen. Don't know why you wouldn't have tried that first, to be honest.

They've been doing it a lot for the last year or so. You can look back at the comments on top threads from a year or so ago and you will find a serious difference between the tone and content of the messages for more polarized topics.
