Criticising flaws in existing research *is the foundation* of science!
What the mod /u/mrsamsa is doing here, promoting the "listen and believe" approach to handling publications, is much more a case of science-denial than criticizing a publication ever could be.

Comment on: /r/PublicFreakout mods lock a post of a man assaulting another man. The mods seem puzzled that people in the thread believe assault is wrong and the person committing the crime should most likely go to prison. Lucky for us that these mods are around to tell us crime is ok, then lock the thread.
