However, this is a discussion on medical ethics and whether "gender affirming care" is actually medicine and not just voodoo witch doctor scam medicine. If we allow the AMA to chop off perfectly healthy body parts, normies will lose confidence in medical institutions. I like my doctor having to be thoroughly vetted by YEARS of science based medical schools. You know? Medicine is kind of important? Medical institutions being infiltrated by political ideologues is how we had the mess of mass covid vaccine skepticism. If you want normies to "trust the science" it kind of helps if you have competent rational people in there, right?
