I'm not seeing any statistical analysis on that page that proves the efficacy of non-medical or non-particulate masks. Probably because it doesn't exist. We have the case data from around the world, and we know that lockdowns didn't help either because cities that locked down and those that didn't, but had similar population densities had nearly identical spread rates within very minute margins of error. Turns out that being made of liquid and meat and living with a large number of other creatures made of liquid and meat makes you pretty damn susceptible to diseases that like to take up residence in meat and travel by liquid.

You might want to go read up on what they found. They only found evidence that there may have been bacterial life at some point. They did not find living bacterial life. The moon of Enceladus looks promising though, as it has many of the ingredients needed for life, so it may possibly have microbial life already but it'll be many years before know more.
