Whatever you say buddy. Thankfully our leadership is less deluded by foreign propaganda than your average rightwing redditor.

A lot of that is just incorrect. Europe has provided significant aid. The nations we're concerned about, bordering Russia, meet or exceed the 2% standard, and corruption is far from exclusive or special in Ukraine. Hyperfocusing on it like they're selling M113s to Iran or something is comical at best.
Yeah we've got issues here. I addressed that, see above. It still has fucking nothing to do with whether we help or not in Ukraine. If you think otherwise, you're wrong. If someone tells you otherwise, they're wrong.

If you want things to get better in the long term, if you don't want to fight a land war in Europe in the next decade or two, or have to fight China in the Pacific, both because of mutual defense treaties, then you ought to support Ukraine. If we don't, and Ukraine falls, then the world order shifts. Regional powers can, once again, annex their neighbors. China will be emboldened to invade Taiwan and perhaps other regions after. Plus other nations may take advantage of such circumstances to start their own smaller wars.
All of this is bad for us. International trade is how we enjoy the lives we lead. COVID should be proof enough that disrupting the economy, whether it be disease, famine, or war, is awful for everyone. We can't just close our doors and say it's not our business. It doesn't work that way anymore.
Therefore, it is in our best interest, perhaps one of our greatest interests, to support Ukraine and Taiwan. If we can prevent China from ever invading Taiwan, if Ukraine can win or make Russia hurt so bad it's not worth it, then we get to continue enjoying our cushy lives for further generations. If we fail in this, future generations will likely need to go to war in much larger and far more expensive conflicts. This is a potentially pivotal moment in history, we need to think about the future.
It is in our best interest to do this. Congress' failure to pass other kinds of laws and changes has fuck all to do with it. They can do both. We have totally unnecessary budget items we can remove if needed. We can afford just about any change you might want. The question is whether Congress wants to pass it. But if they tell you they can't because of funding Ukraine, of which a fraction is actual money, then they're lying to your face.

Well hold on now, that was the second mistake. The first one was not running your messages through a spell checker. It looks like OP uses speech to text and doesn't check that it's correct. They make tools for this OP, plz.
