Comment on: r/rocketleagueesports bans members because of downvoted comment
I don't wanna remember that game exists, I owned it before they required some additional account to play, and after they did I refused to make one. So they stole a game I owned and will ransom it back if I make an account, fuck epic.

Comment on: Life guard manager /r/dwarffortress mod removes fan art game
I didn't actually see the bottom of the image before, but the difference is pretty big. Part of making a game is spreading the word, and its something people often pay for (as advertising). They don't want you using the sub that way, whether you are making money with the game right now or not, even if you don't ever think you will. /r/RedditCensors is more about mod's abusing their power to protect themselves or push their political beliefs.

Many subs don't allow self promotion, don't know what the norm of that sub is.

Comment on: Video of looters reaches #1 spot in a popular subreddit (r.IAmATotalPieceOfShit). Mods delete it, lock the thread. OP gets banned from all of reddit.
Example of removed comment: > Imagine risking getting run over by a train for a $500 TV. If anyone is compiling particularly indefensible censorship, this thread can go in your list.

Comment on: r/RedditCensors Subdirect Statistics
You didn't lie in your title, but I thought this was a spreadsheet of how much censorship was occurring in popular subs. In hindsight there isn't really a way to get accurate data for that, but I'm still disappointed.

Comment on: I’m being told that TwoXChromosomes is an official subreddit. How is this possible?
The most disappointing thing, is seeing someone make a very reasonable argument, that the person who posted that aught to hear and getting silenced. This is the reason that fringe of the internet has become so radical imo.

Comment on: Temporarily banned from Politicalhumor for 30 days for...
This mod is in dire need of a foot up their ass, something else is stuck there, need a foot to dislodge it.

Comment on: /r/MGTOW has been banned
People are downvoting but you are correct, still no excuse for the ban, but you are correct. The main occupants of the sub were not people who were practicing MGTOW but people who wish they were. I say that because I don't think someone practicing MGTOW would still be posting things to convince themselves that they need to practice MGTOW, they'd be in subs related to what they want to spend their time on, or off reddit entirely.

Comment on: Maybe Reddit Has Some Hope After All
Its good to highlight the good apples, but the issue is systemic. I don't see any hope for reddit unless there was something external that forces reddit to change.

Comment on: r/trueoffmychest removes comments critical of OP
I'm confused, this paints a trans person in a bad light and they didn't remove the post?

Comment on: Noooo you are only allowed to laugh. If you say things we disagree with in the comments you're gonna get banned! Locked.
good bot, great bot, I've wanted to view my own removed comments several times. Spineless mods remove the things without even telling the user a lot of the time to anyone who sees this btw.

looking over the thread with removeddit, most all of the removed comments were anti immigration, so fuck the mods for that. suprised that they removed this comment though: > Africans aren't capable of slavery, racist

Comment on: Really Legitimate Question: Why is it that something so black and white, so immediately, obviously relevant to a big, "what will happen," is, still, broadly invisible to people browsing Late Stage Capitalism, Boring Dystopia, Socialist this and That and so forth for hours every day day? U.S. Renters
This, whenever someone talks about something contentious as if there's an obvious answer, I'm doubtful. It's not guaranteed that there isn't an easy answer one side is deliberately avoiding, but its usually not the case.

Comment on: We have very different ideas about what is and isn't civil I guess.
Yea, I thought that too, so I looked up the thread. He wasn't insulting the poster, he was insulting a person the poster mentioned in the story (I assume, its pretty obvious who he was talking about). Gist of the post was, 2 boys cut his lawn, ask for extra at the end, next time they offer he tells them its too expensive and turns them down, then one of their mother's calls to ask why he turned them down, he tells her, and she lectures him about supporting kids or some shit. Woman sounds like a karen, and this mod of /r/AmItheAsshole seems like an asshole. Edit: and then I looked at their rules and under be civil it says: attack ideas, not people, so I'm actually reversing my position again.

Comment on: /r/Nintendo mods Removing comments/posts calling them out for finally allowing a post about a class action lawsuit against Nintendo for
Its really really blatant in this case, vast majority I saw did not look like they should be removed, like this removed one: >This is a lawsuit. Since I don't want my comment removed that's all I can say.

You know you're right, after re-reading your comment you were just expressing your opinion (except for that edit on your original comment). You came off as a bit judgmental, but nothing more. I just get pissy when anyone implies some comedy (or any instance of any other art form) is lesser or not comedy based on the subject matter alone. Edit: Note I am only talking about the ~~2~~ 3 comments in my chain, looking at the others you are still acting like there are some things you cannot joke about, which I wholeheartedly object to.

/u/BradGroux was on point with that link. I hope you watched it. I especially love how you put "jokes" in quotes to imply that any jokes that don't meet your arbitrary standards don't deserve the label. Good thing we all have you around to tell us what to find funny.

Why though? And I don't mean the reason that image says.
