Comment on: Stop saying learning to code is easy (because it sets begginers up for disappointment).

You phrased that like it's something that cannot be learned unless your born with it.

Comment on: I am having a hard time finding examples....

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to add it to my notes of this discussion. I think I've come up with a solution, I will dissect the code examples I find off github and all the other sites you gave(thanks again for that) with relation to javascript and python into good and bad example directories so eventually I'll gain a larger understanding of the code and what to do and not to do as I progress.

That's not a bad plan at all it'll definitely be worth getting off the ground for what I'll learn by it; but i'll be sticking with 1.8 since it'll be supported till 2018 and Django changes so quick. Just wishing someone knew of some code example alternatives to github lol, looks like I'll have to get back to slogging at this point.

I'm past most the introductions with the exception of java so i'll give codeacademy a try in that case.

Comment on: I am having a hard time finding examples....

I have read quite a lot out of an "introduction to computer science" book which also teaches python3 in the process, as well as a large bit of learn python the hard way website but I would still consider myself a novice because I have struggled for a long time with the concept of classes and examples are as you know something I struggle to find. Java I just began and found enough resources to learn it but I'm certain examples will be needed to succeed in it as well. Html/Css sources I have are often conflicting or outdated so I have some experience with it but I'd consider myself below novice with those and it would aid me if you happen to find even a site and tell me what good looking html/css looks like lol. As for django I have an okay grasp as well but models have been the issue; templates and views are understood well to me. Github is the only lead I have for examples because its generally the only thing I've read that comes up as suggestions. No I have no official training I've taught my self from the beginning and it has been slow but steady progress.
