Do they do research on all sorts of naturally occuring viruses and pathogens? Yes. Was the Coronavirus Pandemic started from that facility by virtue of the lab's existence? No. No evidence points to that. Nor have you been able to gather any in your frantic scramble. Not every pandemic has some action thriller movie origin.

Sending an opinion piece behind a paywall isn't as clever as you think it is. Anything from an Internationally accredited scientific committee? The CDC? The World Health Organization? Hell, maybe even the AMA? Science has no bias.

The ban is justified. You can't cite house republican insanity just because it's a "government document." The lab theory has never been proven to any reasonable degree and it's been disavowed six ways from Sunday by multiple organizations that actually know a thing or two about science.
