Comment on: Section 230: everything you need to know about the law protecting internet speech
If Section 230 is repealed, social media companies will have to choose. They can either heavily moderate their content (basically moderate everything before it gets published), or they can do no moderation at all. (maybe exceptions carved out for spam and porn etc) But the "We determine what kind of community we want" will have to go away.
