Comment on: Coding Saves

If you spent a year teaching yourself finance could you find a job as a remote investment banker? If you spent a year teaching yourself engineering would you expect to be designing buildings? A year studying medicine to be a doctor?

The fact that you can do what you've done shows how lucrative the industry still is.

The author and you are both being obtuse now. You can play with words but if that scenario becomes reality, having a specialized developer role will be phased out because any idiot who knows English can replace them.
