Just use a vpn. You only need to protect yourself with the method, there is no reason to have every single person protected, and on most torrent sites they warn that vpn is a very good idea. And I mean by putting a big flashing banners that say: USE A VPN YOU F#€×ING MORON.
That and torrent data will always be illegal to track due to our own government using bit data transfer (which torrents are built off) for communications. So it does the government good to have us transferring bits.
There is some fuckery that may go down with VPNs but for now they are the best option.
Eh that's a bit defeatist for me. Each time this is brought up is a good time to introduce that it doesn't have to be this way. But mainly the frustration stims from the engineering perspective of having such a poorly designed Internet infrastructure.
