Fair enough, I won't complain about people trying to create more open spaces for discussions. But it's always a slippery slope and it's frustrating to see it over and over. But yeah I guess you got me on child porn. Obviously can't have any space for that. So I suppose in a sense I'm not 100% free speech either. I agree with you, if your up front about what you'll allow or not it helps but the again, that list expands fast often times.

Instead of auto censoring, why not give the option to filter. Then it would be legit free speech and the limitations on free speech would be applied from the user instead of dictated by the site. That would be better imo since we all know any censoring just eventually grows into more censoring until you go full Reddit.
