the donald is trash but no, these rules are universally ignored. the donald is the only one punished. Its like being put into an underground ring fight and everyone else is given a knife. Referee zaps you when you try to use one. You are dead because your options are so limited but hey "no knives allowed in the deathmatch"

Voat is bad though. I want them to stay here and for us all to act like adults. Both sides.

That is how most moderators operate at this point. Just have a ton of very broad rules so you can find an excuse to delete any post you want. Why wouldn't the admin's follow that effective tactic? The average redditor eats it up. All it takes is a layer of deniability.

It absolutely has been. I've seen less TD posts in the last few months then ever before because of the new rules to stop one subreddit from dominating the front page.

I think your number 2 is way off. They will likely go the route of the anti-Donald subs. 4-5 main subs with varied styles and methods. Dozens of tiny pro-TD subs. All with different levels of cooperation with admin rules. Some will be spam, others conspiracy, other focused on talking about headlines and political arguments, memes and jokes, etc. It seems to be the most effective way under the new reddit algorithm and culture. One subreddit just can't dominate. I'm not saying this is what they will do but if they do go into the new sub route, this is the likely result.
