Autism man ffs. Yes the spirit of free speech should be acted out by every American and American company even though no one is forcing you. The reason we have free speech is arm the oppressed so they can fight against their oppressors. Limiting free speech, even in your private life or within a business, is done with the goal of oppression. No one should support or defend the oppression of others, it’s immoral, also a thing that isn’t required by law.
Imagine thinking it’s only right or wrong to do something if there is a law about it.
The morally correct thing is to allow people to speak their minds. It doesn’t matter if it’s legal or not. Anything less is an attempt to control people’s thoughts and is the very definition of fascism and authoritarianism, which isn’t a good look.

What a perfectly unamerican, antisocial, regressive and tbh, pure evil things to say. Think about WHY we have free speech and what the implications are for a society to have that right. Then ask yourself what motivations someone might have for choosing to not participate willingly with free speech.
Free speech is the most powerful tool that oppressed people have to fight their oppressors. Choosing not to act that out in every aspect of life, business or government or personal, reeks and shouts that you’re trying to oppress people.
Let me repeat that for the people in the back…
The only reason to not act out free speech is because you are oppressing people.
The only people against free speech are oppressors.
