I'm center or moderate, as such I find things I like and things I dislike on both sides. Unfortunately in my experience the most hateful people here are leftists. As soon as they find out someone has a right- flavored comment they swarm and down vote, insulting as much as they can. They automatically assume anyone who isn't far left or a socialist is a MAGAT that they need to "put in their place." Hence the reason why I clicked on this post in the first place. This kind of attitude on both sides is the exact reason American society and politics is where it's at right now, unreasonable automatic hatred for anything someone from another viewpoint says or does.

Exactly, that goes both ways. Or do you not acknowledge that?

What you're missing is no one asked the leftists for their input or their social repercussions. I think we as Americans have had enough of leftists' 'social consequences' which are working to destroy the population centers of America, full stop.
