Comment on: Medium sees more employee exits after CEO publishes ‘culture memo’
The main thing about these specific cases isn't as much what ideology the company holds, but how they treat people with different ideologies.

Comment on: TikTok sued for billions over use of children's data
The purpose of the law is that people under a certain age are less able to understand the consequences of the data they give up, and can therefore be exploited more easily then someone a bit older.

Comment on: TikTok sued for billions over use of children's data
I think the trouble is that if it is proven that tiktok knew how many kids under 13 were on the platform, and they did nothing, then they would have to be legally accountable.

Comment on: MyPillow CEO’s free speech social network will ban posts that take the Lord’s name in vain
Yeah the dudes an idiot. He can't call it a free speech site if he is going to ban something so simple that goes against his own views. Also has anyone seen what his site looks like right now. (In case it changes, its all broken html, and asking for your personal info). Also, if someone isn't willing to allow something so basic, what's saying won't ban other things later? Basically I'm sticking to ruqqus. The pillows are pretty good tho. He should stick to that.

Comment on: Google Blocks Advertisers from Targeting Black Lives Matter YouTube Videos
I believe that any sort of ad targeting based on political views should be banned as a whole.

Comment on: ‘Protecting Biden from further embarrassment’: YouTube to hide ‘dislikes’ on videos as users ruthlessly downvote president
Tip: marking them as "not interested" does more to get them to stop showing up then disliking them. The fact that you click on them to dislike them makes youtube show even more of them to you.

Comment on: Is Brave a good browser?
I use brave. I like how it allows you to have more control over what sites and creators get your ad money.

Comment on: I spent about a month building a miniature og macintosh
I love watching the "overclocking competitions" where people overclock their computers to 25 GHz or whatever.

Comment on: I spent about a month building a miniature og macintosh
That's what I was thinking about, and uploading all the software onto the sd card instead of a usb stick.

Comment on: Why Everyone Should Build Their Own PC and Stop Using Macs
Yeah even as someone who is super into pc building, getting everyone to build their own is not going to happen. Besides the obvious point about laptops, pc building is just not the kind of thing that most people have interest in.
