Comment on: We Will Not Act on Complaints About Racist Harassment Why Githubs Amy Palamountain is a Liability

Forget about certificates, they are expensive, very much like school and I am not sure any "fast paced, credible, focused on valuable skills"-certificates exist. Since you're already coding, put some source code out there in the world. Upload your projects to github and participate in open-source software. For bonus points pick any industry, research what open-source tools they use and participate in those. Then apply for jobs in that industry.

This looks really interesting. Taking AntMe to a new level (in AntMe you wrote AI for Ants to harvest food and fight enemies. It was a Microsoft project to teach people to code, but it seems long abandoned).
Comment on: If you use a VPN to keep yourself private, you may want to use this tool to check the JavaScript WebRTC IP Leak isn't exploitable in your browser. [x-post - v/JavaScript]
Interestingly I'm currently using a work VPN and have WebRTC enabled, but it's only leaking internal IPs. My "actual" IP isn't leaked by WebRTC (using OpenVPN and Firefox).
So any customer of Github can sue them over that racist code of conduct. That could become interesting.
Overall a very interesting read.
