Comment on: /r/science is holding a "Transgender Week", mods post a "friendly reminder" informing that anyone questioning whether trans is mental illness will be silenced or banned, thread is deleted after sensible commenters point out this is more propaganda than science
Thankfully the comments are overwhelmingly in opposition. The mods are only damaging the credibility of their own subreddit. It's the height of irony for a subreddit *devoted to science* to ban people for questioning The Chosen Facts. I'm very pleased to see all the top comments pointing out the problems with this.
Honestly I hope this turns into the shitshow it's shaping up to be. I hope the mods throw out bans Willy-nilly. I'll enjoy watching them needlessly drive intelligent people from their idiotic, ideologically-driven, echo chamber.

Comment on: The Supreme Court reinstated Trump's travel ban, so /r/politics shoved that news in a megathread with a completely confusing title. Can't have positive-sounding Trump news out there in the wild.
Yo post screencaps of those PMs, I need a good laugh today

Comment on: Rip reddit
Extremely tempted to give these people a call and waste as much of their time as possible before telling them to go fuck themselves and hang up.

Comment on: /r/worldnews head moderator maxwellhill keeps breaking his own subreddit rules to post anti-Trump pieces, this time by reposting a link that had already been removed for being US internal politics
Yeah but like most power mods he has zero fucking life. Posting shit on Reddit for the sweet karma is 90% of his raison d'etre.

Comment on: Life Threatened by a mod Please help?
Let me guess, the admins did nothing because violent Internet anarchists are a protected class?

Comment on: /r/Soccer mods censoring criticism of Islam. I was promptly banned from the sub.
They removed the responses to you as well. I'd rather an entire off-topic comment chain be wiped than have only one side be censored.

Maybe try to make it a little less obvious, Shariablue.

Comment on: /r/TwoXChromosomes "proactively" banning again
I'm banned from there as well but I don't remember ever getting a message saying so. Can you ban people from a sub without notifying them?
Either way, two X chromosomes is a sub for women to bitch about pointless things so I don't miss it.

Speaking the truth is considered treason in an empire of lies.

Comment on: /r/socialism bans all Venezuelan redditors from its megathread about Venezuela
Now come on guys if they didn't ban Venezuelans they wouldn't be able to circlejerk about how everything wrong with Venezuela is the fault of capitalism.

Comment on: /r/OutOfTheLoop nukes thread about Seth Rich, removing 83% of comments including all the ones not completely dismissive of the hypothesis that he leaked the DNC emails or was murdered for it
Mods are welcome to keep nuking threads like this. Just as I'm welcome to take this as evidence that Seth Rich was murdered for political reasons.
There once was a time when I would never have believed all this CTR/Shariablue stuff beyond "oh it's just Twitter posts" or whatever. But with how goddamned brazen the mods in so many subreddits are about applying this secret, scorched earth policy it makes me so fucking suspicious.
I don't think the people responsible for this censorship are ignorant of the Streisand effect, even if they don't know it as that. So I am forced to come to the conclusion that they deem the risks associated with censorship to be *less* than the risks of allowing redditors to see posts like the ones in the OP.
They're willing to have people see their true colors and how far they're willing to go to control the narrative so long as most people don't see what we're trying to say. ...Why go through all the trouble if we're just pushing conspiracy theories? They either know we're right ...or they're just scared that we are.

Comment on: /r/worldnews: Muslim posts a list of positive quotes from the Quran; user replies with a list of negative quotes. Positive comment stays; mods remove the negative comment and ban its author.
It's the latter. Shithead mods like EightRoundsRapid rarely have "real" reasons for the bans they hand out because they're motivated by political suppression, not legitimate rule violations.
The standards are different, too:
Call someone a Trumpist Nazi cunt who should kill themselves? Comment removed, warning, **no ban**.
Speak ill of Islam? Comment removed, no warning, permaban.
I'd love to have a look through the mod logs of a large biased subreddit just to see how differently comments are treated by the mods based on the politics of the person who made them.

Oh of course it's noted twatwaffle EightRoundsRapid.
He was the useless fuckwit that would check my comment history periodically, following me around to different threads in subs he never visited just to make shit-talking replies.
In short, he's someone that won't be missed when he's dead and buried.
