That's not a shadowban.. only admins can levy those. If you ever see a post in your mod queue that was removed but doesn't have a reason attached, and you can't open the person's userpage, that's a shadowban.
What you're talking about is the automod trick that any mod can do.

Yep. Once you realize that most of the things set up here are in an intentionally opaque way to discourage transparency and accountability, it makes more sense.

So if your stuff ever gets deleted, it will always appear normal to you, even under a shadowban. There’s no way to tell who deleted it, Reddit doesn’t expose that information. Usually though, admins nuking stuff comes alongside a site ban.
The quickest way to tell is to log out or check in a private tab, or use an undeleter like revddit.
A shadowban just means your stuff is deleted the moment you post it, anywhere in the site. This is an admin only thing. Mods of individual subreddits can do a subreddit shadowban by setting automoderator to filter your posts.

This is how normal post deletion works. A shadowban is when ***all*** of your stuff is deleted automatically and has to be mod approved.

Agreed on concept, I just always think it's a bit ironic the.. shall we say, religious fervor shown by the /r/atheism types. And this from a group that prides themselves on being "free thinkers" and "logical". You'd expect an ability, if not a willingness to debate.

I wouldn't mind seeing CU overturned either.
That last little barb, though, completely exhausts any high ground you may have had. You're still being disingenuous at the end of the day, no matter how much of a veneer of civility you plaster over it.
>Hell yes, I support a wide range of censorship.
Then you are my enemy. Fuck you.

The fact that the UK, the place where you can be incarcerated for stating objective facts about Muslims, is ranked higher than the United States, calls into question the methods used in that study.

No, because they are targeting politics they don't like in biased and unfair way, using their monopoly power.

A purely legal construct, meaning their conduct can be regulated. Furthermore, Google, Facebook, etc are basically monopolies, and gather your information in such a way that you literally can't avoid interacting with them in some way.

No, we're calling for the existing laws to be updated with social media monopolies in mind - something which we have an absolute right to do per the constitution. You're pretty slow aren't you?

I'm not interested in the genetic fallacy here, I'm interested in whether it applies or not. You see a lot of marxist political theory and actions (the modern left seems to work out of Alinsky's *Rules for Radicals* down to the last man) in the way Dems and Dem-adjacent people behave.

Just so we're clear here, I think cultural Marxism is a thing that actually exists and is actually a threat to western values and way of life, but I'm not going to pretend that ties any way into racial hatred.
