Comment on: Banned from r/politics for saying someone had tds after they went on a rant about trump being Hitler 2.0. It is a left wing echo chamber now.
He was a corrupt disaster that told a bunch of assholes that have been brainwashed by years of right-wing lies exactly what they want to hear. He lied about the election being stolen which has caused a giant rift in our country because people want so badly to believe they’ve abandoned reality. The one good thing he has done is removed the masks from so many people that are willing to compromise everything about themselves for the promise of power. On the topic of masks though, coincidentally those same people refused to take proper precautions and died in disproportionate numbers from Covid; I’m mad at them for being so awful but I’m not mad at reality for asserting consequences.

A secondary analysis was performed on data from the U.S. Transgender Survey, a cross-sectional nonprobability survey of 27,715 TGD adults in the United States
A total of 17,151 (61.9%) participants reported that they had ever pursued gender affirmation, broadly defined. Of these, 2242 (13.1%) reported a history of detransition. Of those who had detransitioned, 82.5% reported at least one external driving factor. Frequently endorsed external factors included pressure from family and societal stigma.
A total of 15.9% of respondents reported at least one internal driving factor, including fluctuations in or uncertainty regarding gender identity.
