Haha, that is crazy. What could even be construed as offensive in that? Am I missing something? I get the impression that it's one mod who is righteously arrogant and I think he bans people when he's in a bad mood to make himself feel better. He's definitely not objective or constructive about it in any way. I'd love to have a conversation with him to clear things up but he's clearly not interested. Guy is very bad at his volunteer job and is a terrible "moderator".

Realize i'm two months late to this train but I also got banned recently for a clearly sarcastic and innocent remark that I made like 5 days after I left the comment. It wasn't even offensive and it started a decent conversation/debate with several other users. I politely apologized for it still and asked for clarification and the dbag wouldn't even respond. I agree that there should be a vote or something. At least a warning or two before a ban. Also, he could have just removed the comment if he thought it was so was so terrible. Shit, I would have removed it myself if he just asked. Instead he banned me without an explaination or response. Came across as a massive tool who should not hold any sort of power. Even over something as inconsequential as r/publicfreakout. Okay, now that's off my chest.
