A lot of the html elements are hard coded strings it looks like. Are we sure those are all unchanged?

I was thinking it could be something that had changed in Voat. Mainly because it still half works (as in it runs), and nothing has changed on my end since I last used it. I don't know if they have changed though.

so banned strings are likely case sensitive

String instructions say:

If you are just using the code straight, there are no banned strings being checked.

I've tried many different strings. "word", "two words", "this is a statement", "domain.test", "subhere", etc. It is like it just ignores them now. Also, when a new comment is added, it is supposed to go into the thread and check them again for banned strings/domains/subs (line 438 I think). It no longer does that either :/

But why java?! Uggh.
