Comment on: A friend of mine got the Google foobar "interview" .
I just googled dependency injection once and got it. I did a few of the exercises but quit part of the way through because I picked python and I'm not very well versed in that language. Also probably because I'm not that good of a programmer.

They should make it double as a vape when rolled up so that today's kids can have the full experience of rolling something up and getting high with it.

Comment on: Apple is working on a car for 2024
You do know that board members generally don't like being jerked around, right? The likelihood that they created an illegal hoax for a marginal bump in stock price vs the likelihood that they are actually doing diverse R&D that might prove to be vaporware is extremely low.

Comment on: Coalition Of Internet Companies Who Are Decidedly Not 'Big Tech' Raise Their Voices About The Importance Of Section 230
I think it's a burn it all down kind of thing. Of course 90% of the internet is built upon 230's safeguards. I see it like the statement is, 230 is a nice thing to have, and if you don't act right, you can't have nice things.

Comment on: GoDaddy uses fake holiday bonus notification to test employees on email phishing | TheHill
That's pretty mean! Phishing is so effective though, the absolute best way to deal with it is with routine practice emails and a mechanism to report them. Where I work now is trying to implement a custom report button. The last place I worked used a service called Phish me, which had a report button add on and would send you fake phishing emails a few times a year. That way the organization knows who is gullible. The fake phishing emails make it like a fun game.

Comment on: Why Slower Computers Were Faster | Mental Outlaw
Games are usually single threaded because most are not CPU-limited, they are not doing enough simultaneous computations on the CPU to warrant multiple threads. They are far more frequently GPU limited, and all graphics APIs automatically optimise GPU computations for parallelism, developers don't have to do anything to get this.

Aw that's so sweet of them to put so much effort into protecting the sanctity of the election! Ruqqus, you should follow suit. We wouldn't want the Russians to hand this thing over to Donald Trump again for some reason.
