As much as I love arguing with Democrats, you are correct about that. Since I am a lifelong devout libertarian it really doesn’t hurt me to say that conservatives have a tendency to behave in a reactionary manner these days. They mean it in a “how does it feel vibe” but it comes off more like a “I’m a jerk” vibe. However, in examples, you and every other leftist has only really been able to point to that one Reddit whereas I can point dozens of examples offhand that practice this on the left side. The problem is that left takes any criticism of their constant virtue signaling as offensive and mean, but they have no problem, turning around and engaging in the exact behaviors that they complain about us doing 50 years ago, and to tell you the truth comes off to nearly everybody is complete and absolute hypocrisy

What’s funny is that the belief that only a certain race is capable of a type of hate, or wrongdoing is in of itself a terribly racist viewpoint, and these liberals would never get that, even if it smacked them in the back of the head

The Democrats hold as many closed door meetings as the Republicans do and the only reason Democrats want to cry about it right now is that the closed door meetings that are in reference are ones about immigration something that the Democrats didn’t care about until immigrants started showing up handover fist in their so-called sanctuary cities

Actually unlike you libtards we know the difference between the closed door meetings you mention which are done IN ACCORDANCE with existing rules and the brigading and shadow banning that goes on AGAINST the code of conduct of Reddit. We use our own platform to criticize them. And the only snowflake is you, seeing as nobody here has even mentioned anything about destroying democracy, but I hear those words out of you leftists every other minute on the news

All this “both sides are to blame” when the majority of the media is leftist, and also the majority of the extremist reddits, really is trying to downplay the fact that the problem is prevalent on the left and only appears on the right in a manner reactionary to leftist behavior.

He gave you an answer. What? Cat got your tongue? Are you going to tell us they don’t do those things?

I agree that participation in another Reddit should not be an allowable reason. It amounts to abuse of the system.

No subreddit is responsible for the internet in general or the site as a whole. The communities are private and so choose their own rules. You can always make your own sub. This sub is here to call out Reddit censors for that reason. But I don’t think forcing people to admit unwanted talk into private conversations on private forums is appropriate, it’s a real big government approach

The show also celebrates expressions of patriotism that leftists would typically consider “toxic” and a regimented military life that liberals would consider “oppressive”. Force is used as a solution on many occasions that a leftist would never approve of. And if you watch the original Star Trek, the womanizing barfighting Captain Kirk is not what I would call a liberal minded guy. I believe the Pelosis of the world call it “toxic masculinity”. And the border to the Neutral Zone, what about “open borders”?

Each Reddit is a private conversation ultimately. People thinking that they should be allowed to force anyone to let them voice their views in a forum that is ultimately private is really flawed

Maybe, but the problem is who gets to decide who is an “extremist”. In the end, allowing a sub to choose its moderating rules is done because nobody forced anybody to participate. The best we can do is call those people out on what forums it is allowed, and leave it at that

Good thing it isn’t a leftist sub or you would be banned already. They ban you for even BELONGING to an opposing sub

While I agree and didn’t agree with it when that sub did it, and is that is one subreddit, and one that Trump didn’t run himself. The thing is that it is RAMPANT in the leftist subreddits. Honestly, on the conservative subs lefty comments are left there to gather downvotes and snarky comments.

Leftists have ALWAYS relied on a communist like mode of censorship and accusing dissenting voices of harassment, hostility, or racism and to respond by removing people’s right to talk at all. It’s interesting coming from a constituency that references free speech and right to protest so often. Shame they only apply these rights to themselves.

That is the kind of thing that leftists do. That sub is run by leftists and the moment someone disagrees, the best a lefty can do is tell you to shut up and tell you that you are being “offensive” “racist” or some other liberal euphemism.

Not every leftist is a Marxist, but EVERY Marxist IS a leftist. Marxism is a far-left philosophy, and its impacts can be seen on left wing political stances on things like healthcare.

Star Trek was conservative: it was rooted in the unchanging nature of man, be they hooting hominids on the plains of Earth throwing rocks at prey, or civilized spacefarers. Money, power, lust, war: These were the constants, and Star Trek knew they’d be here forever, unlike leftists. At best we could find enlightened, savvy ways to avoid the pointless fights. But some people only understand a photon torpedo up the dorsal vent port, and we’d best be prepared to deal with them. The Federation, after all, had something called General Order 24, which called for the total destruction of a planet’s surface if the civilization was considered a threat to the Federation.

That is some kind of a joke. I’ve watched Star Trek since I was Three. And while episodes occasionally touched on political issues, it did so in a way that was tasteful and occasional. NOTHING like the constant barrage of left wing pandering that you see on discovery. You will never see so much time in an episode taken up with psychological drivel and snowflake level emotional nonsense. It’s like it was written more as a political statement and less for entertaining science fiction. You must work for a school or college, that kind of snooty leftist behavior is typical for one.

That’s because discovery was a leftist attempt to inject propaganda into Star Trek. They defend it to the core
