Why are you on Reddit if it 'sucks so hard'?

Yeah, fair enough, and there's nothing I can do to prove that I wasn't paid, so you'll just have to decide to believe me or to not believe me :)

I already answered it below so I didn't answer it again, I don't know if MAT is associated with outside sources, I didn't see anything that would suggest they are, but I'm not ruling it out and I'm not defending them

My genuine answer to this is that I don't know, but it's super sketchy and one of the reasons I decided to leave.

> Why should I believe your stated motivations considering you made it a point to spend hundreds of hours spamming lies and propaganda that "just happen" to conveniently perfectly line up with their shill talking points?
You have a good point, and I realise that I'm not in a position to ask you to believe me, so all I can say is this: I created these bots for internet points, internet points which mean literally nothing. It took me a couple of hours to setup, and the content posted by them had nothing to do with me, I didn't regulate it. Honestly, I hated most of the content that became popular, as it was mainly just 'upvote if you h8 Trump' type stuff, but I didn't do anything about it at the time. All I can do now is apologize

:) I have my suspicions, as it does seem weird that some posts get to the front page whilst others barely break 100 upvotes, but I didn't focus on that too much as I don't have definite proof pointing towards or against vote manipulation

I have no relation to CTR or ShareBlue, and if I did I wouldn't be coming forward with this information, would I?
But ok.

Sorry, I thought you meant that I reactivated the bots after making this post. Yes, I did reactivate the bots after deactivating the first time

No, I haven't. And, I could have easily ignored the claims and carried on with the posts but I decided to make this post instead.

Told by Snus, the head mod at the time. He wanted moderators for content more than moderators for moderating

> What was your motivation for all this?
Fake internet points, and the fact that I'd be an essential part of a large subreddit, as the bots provided most of the content. Looking back, I realise how dumb that sounds.
> The widespread consensus among redditors is that ShareBlue/CTR/external forces play a role in the upvoting of the anti Trump content. While you were a mod, did you come across any evidence for this kind of manipulation?
I've seen all the conspiracy theories, and have always actively looked for things that might lead to them being true, but I didn't ever see anything that might suggest any involvement from external forces. And imho, the comments from moderators seemed too immature and unprofessional at times for anything like that
