It's a damn shame this happened. Censorship in any form should be avoided, even (or, perhaps, especially) in cases involving the kinds of speech we disagree with the most. Remember the Streisand Effect! Censoring bad ideas gives them victim cred and the benefit of a good controversy. It's far more effective (and fair) to let the bad ideas expose themselves publicly so they may be rejected in favor of better ones.
