i don’t know how to even approach explaining it. most of the times you ever heard “more letters were added for representation” it was, quite literally a small sect of the lgbtq community; which honestly, isn’t INHERENTLY a community in the sense we think of it as normally being. there definitely is a community of LGBTQ+ that brings an air of contention to EVERYTHING, but you have to remember those are the people who are chronically online anyway
