Reddit admins realize that blanket policies over the whole site like this would pretty much ruin it. There would be a lot of fallout and damage done to default subs.

The thing about Reddit, and most of the internet, is that the majority rules. 51% of people can nearly completely silence the 49% because no conservative post would get traction. Its called "tyranny of the majority" and it's actually why the Electoral College and the senate exists. It sounds like you just really don't like the culture of T_D, and that's fine, but there is no contradiction between calling Reddit overly liberal, and T_D attempting to take credit for "memeing Trump to the White House"
