Comment on: Breaking: Microsoft is bringing Android apps to Windows 11
They better be bringing 100% user control over 'permissions' or no Android "app" will ever pollute my desktop.

Comment on: Windows 11 will be a free update. Here's how you'll download it (if you're eligible)
Yeah; right after I get my Vax 'booster'...

New 'features' I actually want; not just another vending-machine portal.

Comment on: Microsoft plans 'sweeping' design changes to show that Windows 'is back'
Nothing short of a fallback to W2K would attract my attention:
1. No 'account'
2. No 'activation server'
3. No 1984 EGA color palette
4. No PlaySkool Day-Care Training tablet UI

Comment on: Google breaks SMS on many Android phones, is rolling back changes now
Oh noes! What'll I do without my boner-pill ads and credit-card/delivery/phishing/"warranty" scams?
I've gotten exactly two legit SMS messages since 2012, and I sent *myself* one of them.

Comment on: It would seem weirdo Eric Schmidt? friend of Ghislaine Maxwell, to lead Biden's upcoming technology internet industry task force!?
Just who we need, part of the steady cross-infection between Silicon Valley and DC spanning both the Obama and Trump eras.
The most flagrant example being the revolving-door between the Pentagon and Google. Who can forget worthies like [Sturmbannfuhrer Schmidt](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Schmidt) and [Little Miss DARPA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regina_E._Dugan) passing through in opposite directions.

...will not happen. **DARPA**Google is functioning *exactly as designed*.
1. Acts as the premier data-vacuum and honey-pot to attract and compile data on 'troublemakers'.
2. Performs Ministry-of-Truth thought-shaping, gatekeeping/filtering and propaganda-dissemination while posing as a "private search-engine".
3. Now with more "Memory-Holes®" to 'keep us safe'.
Google and its cousin FaCIAbook perform all these banana-republic functions at a fraction of the cost of creating a government department, which wouldn't work half as well.
