r/conservative is just as bad as r/politics but on a smaller scale in terms of bias. You have to be as far right as possible to fit in there. I’m pretty moderate but lean right so I’d get shit on a lot there until I eventually just left. The biggest conclusion I’ve come to: Reddit is a dog shit place to discuss anything political

No surprise there. I've kind of just accepted that Reddit is always going to oppress differing political views. They are in the pocket of the liberal party the same as every major new network is. I've pretty much cut out all even remotely political subs except t_D because their memes are hilarious but seriously. This website is a fucking joke when it comes to political discussion.
