Can you imagine being a developer and having to be careful which version of node you put as experience on your resume depending on where you apply.
employer: "You know node.js"?
programmer: "Yes I spent the last 5 years building things with node.js daily, our team developed many valuable patterns and process innovations"
employer: "Well it says here you've been working with node.js for the last few years but there's no indication on your resume you began migrating projects to io.js after 2017"
programmer: "Well no... it's the same code more or less and that would have taken months"
employer: "Right... ok well that's all the questions I have for now. Maybe you'll hear from us next week"
Employer never to be heard from again.
Holy crap what a bunch of jerks.
