Comment on: Banned from r/Libertarian
Banned a while back for pointing out unregulated free markets dont lead to competition - and gave the Standard Oil Monopoly as an example.
But to the point they had some mod changes 6+ months ago and have been ban happy since.

They use to not be ban happy. The sub has changed with the last set of mods.

OP should take a look at said.net if he wants a window into what an unmoderated reddit would look like. That said, there is definitely room to improve reddit's moderation.

Comment on: Paid posters of r/Politics
I personally haven't had a problem there. The one thing I like is that each top level comment needs to cite sources so you have much less opinion driven discussion over there.
Also they explicitly state their goal is not neutrality. At least they are honest about it.

Comment on: Paid posters of r/Politics
/r/politics has been a complete shit show for a while. It was removed as a default sub in 2013 and is supposed to be excluded from /r/popular.
I've also experience first hand the battle cry of "foreign interference" to justify suppressing opinions. In this case decussion of the recent great Facebook purge in /r/technology.
I recommend trying /r/neutralpolitics if you're interested in in politics decussion.

Comment on: I asked a question about corrupt Reddit mod stories. Woke up today to find all comments directed to my post were mysteriously removed
r/uncensorednews made some effort to not censor posts and they got banned for doing so.
