They didn’t “accidentally” implement it. It was a test run to see how it worked and gauge how much censorship They can get away with. I’ll bet that in 6 months to a year it will get re implemented, but only on “problem” sub Reddits. Either that or it will be used only on certain user accounts deemed “toxic”. This way it will effectively censor wrongthink while not affecting enough of the user base to cause an uproar.
