Remember the good ole days of Gamergate? Of /r/shitredditsays vs /r/kotakuinaction? That was the testing grounds. Now that same level of, i don't even know what to call it...(propaganda warfare?) is playing out on a much larger, international stage, with much bigger stakes. It doesn't matter what side you are on, nobody gets to sit on the fence. This is going to continue to escalate. Soon we'll all be eating at restaurants, patronizing stores, and yes, even only just posting in forums, that fit our particular flavor of echo chamber. This is war, nobody fights fair, and nobody wins.
