Comment on: Apple’s new ARM-based Macs won’t support Windows through Boot Camp - The Verge
I do believe Windows had an ARM version but I don't think it really went anywhere unfortunately. But Apple's move here really does excite me. I hope ARM will get more support from developers in the future.

Comment on: iOS14 reveals that TikTok may snoop clipboard contents every few keystrokes is trending
Not sure if this will really go anywhere. There have been worse things that TikTok has been doing and nothing happened. In fact I'm not sure how much people seem to care unfortunately. Zoom for example was shown to censor things outside of China's borders based on Chinese censorship rules and people are still using them without skipping a beat.

Comment on: China's GPS rival Beidou is now fully operational after final satellite launched
Do you need special hardware to use the new system vs GPS or can you change which satellite is used based on software? I'm just thinking that China might start moving their people towards the new Beidou system in which case they might ban GPS from being used in their borders. It does give a lot of information to their potential enemies after all.

Comment on: iOS 14 shows TikTok steals clipboard content every few seconds
Interesting. I thought apple had a system in place to stop apps from accessing parts of their system. Maybe they didn't think about the clipboard because its such a standard kind of feature? Unfortunately don't think this will do anything to TikTok though. There has been worse that came out about TikTok and people didn't care unfortunately.

Comment on: How the Nintendo Switch prevents downgrades by irreparably blowing its own fuses
Phew. Thank god I've got a patched switch and use custom firmware. No one in my friends group even plays online so I'm fine with not having that feature. Though at the moment I don't see a reason to downgrade its always good to have the option.
