Comment on: A reddit mod is cheating, and the mods are removing out posts pointing it out
for other people that never bothered with place, apparently normal people can only place one each five minutes or so I remember a website like that with many different boards where everyone could click as fast as they wanted, the battles that could ensue were great and you actually had a chance to make a solo pic somewhere out of the way. A 5 min pause sounds like bullshit anyway. But don't you worry, the admin erased a kitten for your safety! https://www.reddit.com/r/place/comments/tv3hin/a_reddit_mod_is_cheating_and_the_mods_are/i386wxx/

Comment on: Banned from r/popping for responding to a rule breaking comment with a rule breaking comment. I was banned. They weren’t. I’m leaving this shitstain aka Reddit. How do I change all my comments to “Reddit sucks” before I go? I remember seeing it but can’t find it.
I'd advise you against using a comment remover/changer, because that is even more annoying than.. most of reddit and it will just seem very petty. It's kinda like throwing a temper tantrum. but if you want to.. removing all comments: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nuke-reddit-history (judging from the comments, only works if you don't use that cancer that is new reddit. The one with avatars and shit) can't find one to edit all comments tho

Comment on: A popular mod activity lately appears to be banning anyone who questions people being loose with the "Nazi" accusation. Happening in different subs; I got banned for doing it on my own profile page.
pretty sure at the start it was just a sub to post retarded bosses and let off steam. The "deeply left" types with takes like "all work is slavery" are what brought the sub to the cancer that it is now

Comment on: PoliticalCompassMemes don't understand what effectively lowering the age of consent to 12 years actually means, therefore banning and nuking the entire thread in retaliation
I faintly remember either a telegram group or a .win site being set up.. but it was too long ago, I'm not sure

as far as I remember they were recently taken over and the people moved to /r/PoliticalMompassCemes/ But I don't remember what the occasion was so take with a grain of salt

Comment on: I've never laughed so hard in my life. I'm banned from what? Who cares about your version of pseudoscience?
aww, that looked like a good sub to laugh at, but all the top posts are just your normal feminist/blm trash, not actually anything to do with witches

Comment on: Blanket Auto-Ban for Subbing to NoNewNornal - be careful
the funny thing is.. If I got that from shitposting in a sub I hate.. I'd still tell them to gtfo

Comment on: Banned from PublicFreakouts for saying you shouldn't yell at public figures you disagree with in resturaunts (comments in comments).
thanks for the heads-up, I unsubscribed when every single post and comment section was painfully one-sided. maybe the actual one is better

wasn't that sub taken over by ideologes a year or so back? that happens when a sub gets taken over

Comment on: banned from /r/fatlogic just for sharing the opinion that sometimes it may not be the best to insult fat people
honestly I have no idea why this was ban-worthy. I get poking fun at them when they can't see it, obviously it was meant insulting them to their faces. If formerly fat guys weren't allowed on that sub it would probably lose half its user base.. Only thing I could remotely see in the rules is "dehumanizing language" but I don't think "fatties" is.. whelp. I asked what's up with that, so we'll see if I ever get an answer

Comment on: /r/facepalm perma ban for mentioning that it's no wonder rioter's bails were set higher when they so often bailed out and reoffended
just a follow up, I still didn't get a response. Just as I expected.

even (some of) those certain subs seem to be going down the drain. Just yesterday I was downvoted to -9 for saying that there were human rights before the "two centuries[sic] of christianity" on KiA, for example

Just did. But I fully expect no answer or an answer like "bigotry is not allowed", because that was so obviously bigoted. But eh, we'll see

Too bad the article is behind a paywall. I found this reaction to it marginally amusing: >Now, Knox and Princeton political scientist Jonathan Mummolo are pushing back against those conclusions with a critique that was published on the preprint server SSRN. They say the PNAS study is “uninformative” about racial bias because it assumes that black and white officers encounter black civilians in equal numbers. They illustrate their critique with a thought experiment in which a black officer encountered 90 black civilians and 10 white, whereas a white officer encountered the reverse. If both officers shot five black civilians and nine white civilians, the raw results seemed to validate the approach of the PNAS study: The white officer was indeed no more likely than the black officer to shoot a minority. But once the encounter rates were taken into account, it was clear that the white officer shot 50% of the black civilians they encountered and only 10% of the whites, revealing obvious racial bias, the authors write. ...and the black officer shot 90% of the whites but only 5.5% of the blacks in this same thought experiment, but that doesn't tip them off that there might be something wrong with it. Maybe they think that there was a way bigger problem of black-on-white racism, tho

antifa intolerant of hate? uh.. what? They're as intolerant of hate as the omnibenevolent god of the old testament was benevolent

That's like saying "anonymous didn't hack that, there's no anonymous central command" about a website defaced by "we do not forget, we do not forgive". If they identify as antifa by dressing up as black bloc, and aren't in any way stopped by the other antifas there, and there where precedences of antifa doing that kind of shit (after all, the bike lock guy was caught) then that's enough evidence unless any to the contrary surface. If you see a bunch of bald guys with swastika tattoos and army boots beating up a black kid, is your first reaction "maybe they were antifa with sharpie tattoos just doing that as a false flag to make nazis look bad"?

Comment on: ANYBODY HERE HAVE A STORY THEY WISH TO SHARE?⇨ "The White House launched a new system Wednesday to collect stories about free speech censorship on social media." ⇦SEE ARTICLE!
but him blocking anyone does not suppress anyone's free speech. they still can say what they want, he'll just not see it on this platform. And if that is bad, why doesn't the POTUS' phone number have to be public? or why can he use window shades? Why can he have somebody removed from his hotel room? When you realized why twitter is different from those places, you should realize why free speech should apply to twitter as a whole. Should, not does, mind you, as said in my opening comment

that makes no sense. What's the difference between him blocking you and twitter banning you? in both cases you lose the ability to see his tweets

yes, they're perfectly in their rights, currently at least. Doesn't mean it's ethical. free speech is more than just a law, it's a concept. When a corporation is large enough that them censoring someone has far ranging implications, it's morally wrong. I think it's time certain, not all, but certain corporations (depending on the size and other factors one would have to first carefully weight) are required to hold up free speech as much as the government is. Trump not being allowed to block people on twitter actually set a precedence for exactly something like this.
