Why do "mass shootings" happen in gun free zones and not at gun shows?

And yet people still commit thousands of crimes in vehicles every year. Why do you think "licensing" is some kind of magic spell that stops that from happening?

Those all sound like reasons someone shouldn't be free to hurt others with ANY type of weapon including fists.

And "shooters" are punished all the time, too, with regulations that prohibit assault and murder.

Please continue down this train of thought and see where it leads you. You don't have to have a license to buy a car. You can buy whatever car you want. A license is only required for driving on public streets. You dont need a "background check" to get a license. A license does not prevent people from choosing to break the law. People drive without licenses all the time. A license only proves that you know the laws of driving in public. Licenses are designed to prevent accidents, not malicious intent. Do you think that people who commit murder are just unaware that murder is illegal? I'm absolutely on board with "licenses" for guns the same way we do them for cars. The question is why you think that would do anything about violence.

We should probably make it super duper double illegal.

Be careful if you go down the route of saying "guns should be regulated the same as cars". I promise it won't go the way you think.

Lmao so making drunk driving illegal DOES stop people from drunk driving so we don't need to ban cars, but making murder illegal DOESNT stop murder so we must ban guns.

Which country has zero violent crime after making violence illegal?

Which is why it should be corrected not silenced. I had heard the original version too and the only reason I know its not true is people providing further context in this thread. A reddit comment is a lot different than a "tweet". This platform is literally designed to be a back and forth conversation. OP might not even have known it wasn't true.

Even if OP was wrong what benefit is there in "banning" over thus? Just leave the comment up for people to respond to and disprove and downvote. Heavy handed censorship like this benefits no one except power drunk mods who forgot how to use the downvote button.

Comment on: Permanently banned from r/richandmorty reason given: this is spam
I found a neat kickstarter for some RnM parody art and got banned within 5 min of posting it without even a response. Was my first ever ban and it bothered me a lot, but I've since learned I'm happier not even trying to participate in subs that are moderated so poorly. Just think of how man pickle Rick memes you'll be missing out on now!

I mean if that's what they want their community to be ok, but is there really that much "Dwarf fortress only" content?

Comment on: A post on "whitepeopletwitter" asked someone to "Explain the difference" between the Ashley Babbit case, & the Kyle Rittenhouse case; so, I DID. The Moderator's response was to unilaterally Ban me & accuse me of supporting Fascism. Gee, acts like a little Reddit HITLER Much?
r/selfawarewolfkin is the good one.

Such a bullshit strawman. Kyle didnt kille people for rioting. He killed people attacking him. Thats a very important distinction.

Comment on: So I reported r/offmychest. How do we actually fight this? This violates 4 of Reddits content policies by banning users who use Reddit. I got banned for commenting on a subreddit, I'm not even part of. Do we make YouTube videos? Get signatures? Write articles? This goes on alot in Reddit apparently.
Context is irrelevant to these morons. You were exposed to wrongthink so now youre infected with it.
